"The Rustic" located outside historic Dexter, NY is one of Upstate NY's best-kept golfing secrets. the Rustic is a 9-hole, par 36, public golf facility located on Pillar Point, a short 12-minute drive from I-81. Our 2800 yard links course features rolling hills, strategically placed hazards and is very enjoyable to walk!

Awaiting you at the Rustic are rolling hills, challenging rough areas, beautiful woodland surroundings and water on five of the nine holes. Rustic features multiple sets of tees allowing golfers of all skill levels to enjoy their round.  Add the excitement of our intimidating par-3 lofted green 8th and you have a fun, yet challenging day of golf.

2008 Seasonal Membership Packages. By becoming a Seasonal Member of Rustic Golf Course, you have a personal place to play golf every day of the week, for less than the cost of a new set of clubs. You are also entitled to play at LA Golf in Lafargeville, NY. and Carlowden Country Club in Lowville NY. You must rent a cart and call ahead from league and tournament blackouts.

Special pricing is also available for tournaments, fund raisers, reunions and Weddings. Yes we do weddings! We cater to groups of any size, seven days a week. We can make your next event a day to remember! Subject to availability, dates book fast, members have preference with any event or tournament limitations.

After your round, relax in the rustic beauty of our log cabin clubhouse, which can accommodate groups of up to 79 in the main bar area and more on the spacious lower level dining area. Our Clubhouse Manager, Andrea, invites you to sample her varied menu of sandwiches, beverages and snacks to include the Famous Rustic Burger! Fridays are prime rib nights featuring a succulent cut of perfectly cooked prime rib, salad bar and of course the incomparable bar staff. We can tailor a custom menu for your golf outing or group.
